He considers it a privilege to listen to his clients and learn their stories, then to provide them with guidance, support, and education to help them succeed. His desire to connect with others extends into his personal life as well; Doug is involved in many professional organizations and nonprofits, including the International Association of Advisors for Philanthropy and the Donor Motivation Program. He has also served on boards for the Howard Community College Foundation, the Johns Hopkins Howard Hospital Foundation, and many more.

Ultimately, Doug hopes that his professional work and personal life will leave a positive impact on the world, his clients, and his family alike.
