With over 10 years in the financial services industry, Daniel spent most of his life watching his father provide financial counseling and wealth management services to clients. Seeing the way his dad could authentically connect with and humbly serve others through his work inspired Daniel to pursue his own career in the financial services industry.
Daniel grew up in Howard County, MD, and with a business degree from Georgetown University, is a proven emerging leader in the financial services industry. His specialties include financial consulting, HR compensation and benefits, and asset management. In 2021, Daniel decided to merge forces with his father as an advisor and partner at Hostetler Financial, LLC.
Daniel’s career as an advisor has been centered on creating authentic personal connections and serving others. He’s passionate about working with his clients to bring order to their financial lives and finds the greatest satisfaction in seeing them gain confidence and understanding in their finances through the trusted guidance he provides.
Daniel currently lives in small-town Brookeville, Maryland, with his wife, Katharine, and their two amazing children: Charlotte and Noah. He enjoys the quieter and more rustic atmosphere while remaining close to two major cities. Daniel is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time outdoors, where he can think, reflect, and clear his mind. He is active in his community and passionate about serving others, both in his work and through his support of local and national nonprofit organizations. His character is defined by his personal mission statement, “To serve as a leader, grow in knowledge, live a balanced life, and act on ethical principles while impacting the lives of others.”
